Sky Castle

As the fierce battle for the territories continue throughout the lands, resources become scarce with so many alliances fighting for dominance. It was only a matter of time before the battles spilled over to the skies.

Grongon is leading a charge to take over the Ether Castle, which is being defended by Zaax. Victorious Alliances who successfully attacks or defends the Castle will be crowned the owners of the majestic aerial castle. Will you be the first to be the owners of the Ether Castle, and dominate the skies?

How do you participate?

The Ether Castle Territory War will be opened during 6:00 PM Server time to 9:00 PM Server time on Saturday evenings.

There are multiple ways that players can participate in the battle for the Sky Castle. If your alliance has occupied any of the three territories, Gaap, Gallio or Zimian for 48 hours, the alliance leader can obtain a Proof of Dominance from the Local Agent. Once you have the Proof of Dominance, you can use gold to put into the ante system during the registration period for the chance to attack the Ether Castle. The registration period is from Wednesday 8:00 PM Server time to Thursday Midnight Server time. The cost per ante is 1000 gold. The alliance with the highest ante will be able to attack the Sky Castle.

Never owned a territory? You can still participate in the battle for the Sky Castle! Owners of the Sky Castle can purchase Ether Castle Friendly Passes to give to alliances to join in the defense of the Castle. Alliances without the friendly passes can join the attacking group. Will your alliance join the battle to tip the scale of power? Alliances helping in the battle will be declared as mercenaries. Mercenaries do not receive any in game rewards other than the satisfaction of helping change the tides of the battle.

Now that you are in the Battle for the Sky Castle, what exactly do you do in there?

You have now entered the battleground; depending on which side you are on, you will start at one of two different locations. The attacking side will win the war by defeating Zaax. The defending side will win the war by defeating Grongon or by protecting Zaax alive for the duration of the battle. One of the winning conditions is to also own at least one of the three territories, Gaap, Gallio or Zimian.

Whoever owns the Sky Castle can setup defenses during the week before the battle. They can purchase shovels from NPCs to construct Heaven Arrow Towers which can help repel invaders. All of the buildings can be destroyed; doing so may drop items and money. Buildings that are intact after the successful defense of the Castle will remain, but if the attacking side successful invades the castle, all of the buildings are removed.

The battle will not only be a test of strength, but also a test of organization and strategy. Multiple resource nodes will be available on the map that can change the outcome of the battle. Throughout the map there will be four Etherstreams on the outer platforms. If the attacking side is successful in mining them, they can get the “Rage of the Mountains” which will help in defeating Zaax. Both sides can also mine resources to use to purchase buffs to give to all of their members for the battle. There are various upgrades such as increase HP, MP and Flying speed. The buffs are only for the Sky Castle. Both sides can also purchase powerful weapons to help in the defense or attack of the Sky Castle. Each upgrade will only last for the current battle, and will reset after the war is over.

Be prepared to join the battle for aerial supremacy. The battle will rage through the skies very soon.
